Who am I - I'm not yet sure?

Hailing from the village of New Tredegar, south Wales, I began writing in 1997. From a darkened bedroom my early fiction appeared in titles such as Asphalt Jungle, Raw Nerve, Roadworks and several anthologies. After a few years of learning my trade I decided to combine my experiences and write 'Into the Dragon’s Lair – A Supernatural History of Wales'. This was published in 2003 and the imputus behind moving to Southampton, England, to study journalism at Solent University.

After graduation and rejoining the world I'd left behind three years earlier I worked extensively in the freelance market, contributing features to numerous international publications including Fortean Times, Bizarre, Urban Ink, Beyond, Enigma, Record Collector, Maxim and Nuts, and a regular column to the Western Mail newspaper.

As well as my conventional journalism I decided to return to the horror fiction fold and had a story run in Screams of Terror e-zine and another featured in the anthology Return of the Raven.

Whilst trying to find my next challenge I moved to Southern China where I currently teach English in Hunan Province, which was the inspiration for my novella 'Apartment 14F: An Oriental Ghost Story'.

What does the future hold? As long as I have a pen (and laptop) I will continue to travel the long road to enlightenment and continue to foster ambitions to become a world-famous rock journalist...
